Appointment Policy
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
Patient Arrival Policy
For everyone's safety, welfare and protection, all dogs and cats must be presented in an appropriate carrier or on a leash and properly controlled in the reception/waiting areas and examination rooms.
For your convenience, "day-admit" appointments are available. A "day-admit" means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to admit your pet sometime in the morning in order for the doctor to examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Upon completion of doctor's examination, you will be contacted to review the examination findings, recommended diagnostics and treatments and, where appropriate, discharge instructions.
For animal health and safety, we require vaccinations be current for all hospitalized or surgical patients. We strive for patient comfort during all visits and try to minimize patient uneasiness in the presence of new people, surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.
Payment Policy
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered for all outpatients. All patients admitted to animal wellness center of bonita require a 50% deposit at time of admittance. The balance will be due at the time discharge or transfer. We accept cash and, for your convenience, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and debit cards.
