RECEPTIONISTS
Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance. Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.

VETERINARY TECHNICIANS
Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.

Seeking PT Veterinary Nurse/Technician on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings (with potential FT in the fall) for animal wellness center of bonita (www.animalwellnesscenterofbonita.com), which is a canine and feline, paper-lite veterinary hospital emphasizing wellness care as well as corrective care (medical, surgical and dental). Equipment includes in-house lab (Abaxis and Istat: CBC, Chemistry, Electrolyte, Coagulation and Blood Gas), digital whole body & digital dental radiographs, Vet Pro 1000 Mobile dental system, dedicated surgical suite with radiosurgical unit and bair hugger. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required. Must be proficient at understanding canine and feline vaccination protocols, infectious/parasitic diseases, parasite prevention, client communication (written and oral), exam room assistance with patient restraint, treatments of patients (catheter placement to medication administration), maintaining logs for controlled drugs and machine maintenance, surgical preparation and assistance, surgical instrument care, delivery of patient treatment plans to clients and clinic tidiness. Must be an efficient, self-starter who takes initiative during non-client/patient times and embraces a team approach to patient and client care. Familiarity with Macintosh OS, DVMax practice management software and other in-house equipment is a plus.
